“Baptismal sacramentalism continues to generate considerable interest, and often polarized views, among Baptists. With reference to the original documents, this lecture demonstrates definitively that many of the first Baptists understood baptism in sacramental terms.”

He has taught theology and church history at Oxford University, Regent’s Park College, and the University of Roehampton in London, as well as lectured in Britain, Europe, and North America.
